“Freedom is not won on the battlefields. The chance for freedom is won
there. The final battle is won or lost in our hearts and minds.”
–Helen Gahagan Douglas (1945)

It is essential for our souls to feel free. We need freedom of expression,
freedom of choice, to learn and grow. And yet, so many of our brothers
and sisters all over the world live without that freedom. We are all one,
and we feel their pain. Amidst the politics and controversy, what can we do?
We can hold them in our hearts and in our minds, lift them up and know
the Highest Truth for all of us. We can express gratitude for the freedom
that we experience every day.
