Hi Lissa,

I was reading the letter to you from the woman who was experiencing the night sweats. She didn\’t mention if she could be experiencing menopause, even early on set menopause but I have to tell you of my own experience that happened by mistake. I had just started to experience constant hot flashes, night sweats and I was wondering if it was normal to have them as often as I was. I am 54 so I knew part of it was common but having so many? That made me curious. I happened to be reading about Ghee butter. I liked the sound of it, bought some organic ghee, got it home and opened the jar and the smell was intoxicating. I don\’t know if it\’s because it reminded me of movie houses from when I was little and the pure smell of butter was dreamy! I started using it on toast, with cooking, on pop corn and over my veggies. I went through a jar in a short time. A few weeks went by and I had a consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner. When she was asking me if I had hot flashes or night sweats, I told her I had been but that they had suddenly subsided. Later in the conversation I mentioned the Ghee, and she told me that the Ghee was helping with the hot flashes! I didn\’t get it for that, but I certainly got the great benefit from it. I don\’t know if my case was unusual or if something else contributed to the subsiding of those inner heat bombs. But for me? Ghee was an outstanding choice. I don\’t crave it like I did when I first got it which I heard was normal. Now I just eat it because it tastes so much better than butter. Just thought I would add my two cents!
