I just heard about Ayurveda and feel it’s exactly what I need, so I’m going to take the course as soon as I get money.

I wanted to ask you something.

I’ve been bulimic since I was 12. This is an addiction. I’ve heard you stop growing when you start an addiction. I think I’m a Kapha, so I’m lazy, have a sweet tooth, each to much and don’t exercise enough. I listened to your teleconference and it told me I may be a vata.

I took your What’s your dosha quiz online twice and the same results came. Kapha and Vata.

I feel so out of balance and in so much distress I don’t know where to start. I can’t remember when I was really happy with myself.

I want to know all there is to know about Ayurveda, so I can help myself and others like me. Someone told me if I want to be the best at something I should go talk to whoever the best is right now.

So what do I have to do to be the best in this dimension?

Sincerely and Respectfully,

The first thing you need to do is to get your eating disorder under control.  Since it has been going on for so long, this is going to be a challenge – but you can do it.  There are professionals who can help you, and support groups that you can attend.

Everything in the mind and body is connected – so it makes sense that you are not feeling well and are depressed – your whole system is out of whack.

If you could see an ayurvedic practitioner, that would be best.  That person could diagnose you by taking your pulse, and give you specific personalized recommendations.

By the way, if you are interested in taking the Daily Om course in Ayurveda, you can do so for as little as $1.  It’s a pay-what-you-can scale, you pick the price.

Meanwhile, there are lots of articles up on the whatsyourdosha.com site that can get you started.

Good luck!
