Simplicity

“When thought is too weak to be simply expressed, it is a clear proof that it should be rejected.”
-Luc de Clapiers Vauvenargues (1715-1747)

It’s not just our houses and our desks that are cluttered – often times our minds are cluttered, too! Let’s treat our thoughts, and our words carefully – let’s choose them as we would pick out produce in the market, discarding the ones that are stale or bruised and selecting instead ones that are fresh and fragrant and full of life. And let’s just take what we need for now, we can always go back for more. One thing at a time!
